The village of Boccadasse, is enclosed in a narrow bay with a tiny cobblestones beach where the seamen’s small boats rest. With its pastel colored houses leaning against each other, even if they are surrounded by the urban context, has remained almost unchanged over time, as you could have seen one or two centuries ago. That’s why Boccadasse is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Genova. The great beauty of this place is due to the fact that this is not just a preservation of the past for touristic use, but a real village alive and vital, where some fishermen still continue their old-time activities. Today, in addition to them, there are pubs, restaurants and small art galleries.

5 minutes by walking to the famous promenade of Corso Italia,  where you can find  beaches, nice bars, restaurants and clubs, heart of the summer nightlife in Genova.

15 minutes by bus to the Fiera di Genova,  trade fair & exhibition centre, where important fairs take place such as the International Boat Show, Slowfish and Euroflora.

The neighbourhood, between Albaro and Sturla, has a lot of shopping possibilities, supermarkets, easy public transport connections (bus n° 15, 31, 45; Train station of Genova Sturla in 1,5 km).
